10 Things We Learned From Oprah’s Interview With Bobbi Kristina And The Houston Family

Just hours ago, Oprah sat down with Bobbi Kristina and Whitney Houston‘s family on Oprah’s OWN network. For the first time since the iconic singer passed, the family spoke publicly about Whitney‘s death.

Check out the 10 things we’ve learned after watching Oprah’s Next Chapter:

1. ) Mary Jones (Whitney’s personal assistant and aunt) is the one who discovered Whitney face down in the bathtub.

2. ) Bobbi Kristina and Bobby Brown DON’T have a solid father/daughter relationship apparently…

3.) Pat (Whitney’s manager) threw shade softly and quietly, though she answered every one of Oprah’s questions respectfully.

4.) Such a calming force, Oprah makes you feel comfortable, that’s why she is on top of her game… she effortlessly opened up Whitney’s family… proving that it’s not WHAT you ask, it’s HOW u ask it!

5.) As per Pat, Whitney was ‘looking for love in all the wrong places’ by supposedly dating Ray J.

6.) Though she asked the same question 5 different ways, Oprah still has the best interviews. They’re very emotional and touching!

7.) Bobbi Kristina and Whitney’s relationship was very much mother-daugther like. Bobbi insisted she was as close to her mother as a daughter could be. Her mother’s spirit visits her and encourages her “to keep moving, baby”, and Bobbi K plans to carry on her mother’s legacy.

8.) Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina; sister-in-law, Patricia Houston; and her brother, Gary Houston are holding up very strong. Bobbi Kristina didn’t shead a tear during the interview.

9.) Bobbi K’s interview segment was cut short purposely because the sit down was too much for her to bare.

10.) Whitney Houston is finally at peace!
