As part of ATL’s Black Gay Pride, the lovely Jazmine Sullivan came through to Mansion Elan Nightclub show some love to her gay and lesbian fanbase. KidduNot was invited to tag along and capture her every moment. As expected, Jazmine killed it. Wearing an all black dress, she belted out hits such as “Bust Your Windows”, “Lions, Tigers & Bears”, and of course, her new single, “Holding You Down.” This crowd had no problem sweating out their new club outfits as the Phyllis Hyman look-a-like effortlessly sang hit after hit. After the DTP block party, we stopped by Justin’s to check out a performance by Fantasia. As usual, she delivered a spectacular show. Ms. Barrino performed a 30 minute set that began with an old school medley as well as a cover of “Purple Rain.” In Tasia fashion, we went straight to church. By the end of the show, Fantasia was barefoot and singing “Bittersweet” on a chair. In support of the idol, B. Scott, Ray Lavendar, Sammie, Derek Blanks, Keke Wyatt, Terri J. Vaughn, and Rodney Perry were in the building for the emotional performance.

LudaDay weekend kicked off with a DTP(Disturbing The Peace) appreciation cookout Block Party. Not only was there bottomless Conjure following, there were plenty of your favorite Atlanta celebs and friends. Diamond, Lil’ Scrappy, (and his daughter), Nate Walka, Terrence J, DJ Trauma (not pictured), and of course, Luda was in the building with his dog, and the rest of the DTP affiliates. Last night, with the help of Annie of Cubannie Links who celebrated her jewelry line’s 3yr. anniversary, T-Boz of the award winning female group TLC kicked off “A Mother’s Heart” Foundation event @ RBar, in New York City.
Providing a platform towards directly impacting the lives of children with Sickle Cell disease “A Mother’s Heart” Foundation includes raising proceeds for sick children, as well as supporting parents who can’t afford medical care for their children. The foundation will scout, support, and finance programming with-in businesses that will work towards improving the lives of childen with Sickle Cell disease. “A Mother’s Heart” will also increase awareness of Bone Marrow disease amongst the African-American community, help educate others, and ultimately find matches for the blood disease — all leading towards finding a cure!
Hosted by Nina Sky, DJ Enuff, and DJ Prostyle on the 1’s & 2’s the event gathered many supporters including editor-in-chief of Gobal Grind Datwon Thomas (formal editor of XXL & King Magazine), accessory designer Jason C.
