There’s No Place Like Home #WetWillie’s

Picture it: Miami. Spring 2009. The air is thick with humidity, and the palm trees are swaying side to side — WillyTee & I watch sexy pedestrians walk up & down South Beach…. Aww forget it, that moment passed. You missed it, you simply had to be there — what happens in Miami stays in MIAMI!
Now fast forward a year later…We’re at the Grand opening of the new Wet Willie’s in Atlanta, Friday night. The atmosphere: Packed! The people: Sexy! This definitely helped bring back sinful memories of my hometown!
Nonetheless, after having a long, hard, emotional week, I needed a good alcoholic slushy, in particular: a Call-a-Cab! Wet Willie’s, they have a decent amount of flavors to choose from, but I only allow myself to go with the one with the strongest amount of booze, a $9 “Superman” (Call-a-cab/Shock Treatment). Being the alcoholic lush that he is, WillyTee opted for the same thing. Now you know where to find us, because there’s no bar in Atlanta quite like Wet Willie’s!!!
It isn’t Grade A scenary, like the beauty of Miami, but this location is actually fairly decent. Plus, it’s NOT “Cash-bar” only like the spot in Miami — just wish they had a nice deck outside so you can eat and enjoy the weather come Summer time….
