I remember like it was yesterday. It was March 9, 1997 – I was listening to 99 Jamz (Miami Radio station) at 6 am., when I heard them announce the passing of B.I.G. He was indeed ’sicker than yo’ average’ and he had a magnetic charisma that drew people to him. Not only did he create what I consider to be ‘true rap,’ he was the best at it!
